Explore The World

We’ve been travelling overseas well before the Internet and social media were born:

  • Paul’s first overseas trip took him to Rarotonga in the Cook Islands in 1986. He spent a month there during his days in the New Zealand Armed Forces and even ran around the island.
  • Only a year later, Sandra took her first overseas trip. She traveled to Czechia, Slovakia and Hungary with her parents, choosing the trip over a big party to celebrate her coming of age.

Our first joint travel (ad)venture took us around the world in 2012, but it wasn’t until November 2016 that we started this website in earnest.

The map below shows all the countries we’ve visited to date. Click on the destination you’d like to learn more about, zooming in as needed.
