The Tortuga Pro Travel Backpack is a 40-litre carry-on backpack with weatherproof, PFC-free and 100% recycled ECOPAK™ EPX200 materials and lockable YKK zippers. It is backed by Tortuga's Worldwide Warranty.
The pack has a split-case design with one large open compartment and one zipped mesh pocket on either side. It includes an adjustable harness system, a supportive (removable) hip belt with pockets, a separate laptop compartment positioned against your back and multiple other internal organisation and external access pockets. At 55 × 35 × 20cm, it fits well within common airline check-in limits.
Its drawbacks: At 2.04kg, it is the (joint) second-heaviest among the backpacks in our comparison. The harness cannot be stowed away when checking the pack.
